Tun Life Around, Rebuild Confidence, Self EsteemChange Life to Take Control, Small Step Turn Life Round, Live Again
Change or turn your life around, rebuild confidence and self esteem. Sometimes people suffer from a lack of direction, but taking one small step can change your life.
Change your life, live again and turn life arund by rebuilding lost confidence and self esteem. It is understandable for anyone to suffer from a lack of confidence at some point in their lives. Maybe a long-term relationship breakdown has eroded the feeling of self worth, or confidence might have been crushed by a health problem. Or perhaps a weight problem has had a devastating effect on confidence and the ability to enjoy life. Most people want to find a way out of the rut they are in, and very often they know what needs to be done, but already suffering from a lack of confidence the journey back to a better life, can seem too monumental to undertake. Take Control and Turn Life AroundNo matter how insignificant it may seem, achieving the smallest goal will start to rebuild confidence and help regain self esteem. Before taking on the main objective, a person must first prove to themselves that they can succeed by working on their confidence in general. Success, like failure, can become a habit. If someone can carry out a small task successfully, it is the start of being able to turn life around. In the depths of despair failure might seem inevitable, but success and the ability to take control are possible with the right plan. The initial task, to sew a seed of confidence, must be simple, and not require a massive effort. John Francome, the famous British jockey, known for his ability to squeeze everything from a horse, once said that the first time a thoroughbred goes to the track, it is essential not to drive it too hard to the finish or the horse will associate the race course with a negative experience. Likewise, if a person takes on a task that is too hard, even if they succeed the first time, the sheer effort involved would deter them from further attempts. Step, by small step, is the way to go - it is common knowledge that crash diets never work long term. ReBuild Confidence, Self Esteem and Live AgainWhatever task a person chooses, the undertaking of it only has one purpose. It is an exercise to demonstrate that success and change are possible. Whether the task is connected to your main objective is immaterial. Simply find something you would not normally do, and then do it. It could be as simple washing the car yourself rather than taking it to the car wash. Or, doing the housework before you go to the shops, rather than leaving it until later. It could be to go for a gentle walk. Whatever it is, carry it out and chalk up your first success. You will have successfully carried out a task of your own choice, and will have succeeded in achieving a goal. A Lesson in Success From Golfer Tiger WoodsYou may have heard of the golfing legend Tiger Woods. He has the best putting stroke of all time, he takes on putts that no one else can. But part of his practise programme is to hole out putts from only two feet. The reason for doing so is to train the mind to expect success. Holing small putts, of seemingly no consequence, trains the brain to expect success. When Tiger Woods takes on long putts his confidence is already there. Achieving results in small tasks first, is a vital process to building enough confidence to positively undertake more major goals. If a person can succeed in a small goal, then take on another, and another, all the time confidence is growing. When eventually they take on the main objective, they have a database of success behind them. Slowly but surely learn to live again - take one small step to take control and turn your life around.
