Researchers have identified these simple lifestyle changes we can make to prolong intellectual capability:

  • Reduce Stress: Stress contributes to memory lapses. Dedicate a few minutes each day to reducing stress by meditation, yoga, exercise, or time with friends.

  • Eat Brain-Healthy: Antioxidents, omega-3 fatty acids, unsaturated fats, fruits, vegatables, and moderate alcohol consumption are all linked to a healthy brain.
  • Exercise: Moderate exercise benefits the brain as well as the entire body. Stay active by walking, household/yard activities, and aerobic exercise (with your doctor's approval).
