Much has been written about The Law of Attraction and how you can apply it in your own life. Let's break it down into some easy steps. These five steps are very simple to learn. They can be a challenge at times to consistently maintain, but with practice and patience, you'll be amazed at how effective the Law of Attraction can be!
1. Decide as a family what you want and why you want it. Be very specific. For example, if you want a swimming pool for the back yard, what kind of swimming pool, how big, above, or below ground, what shape, when do you want it? Add as many details as possible. Write it out on paper, find pictures of exactly what you want, and post it in areas that everyone will be able to see and remember what it is that you are working for. Send away for more information, or brochures. Do anything you can think of to define your goals as precisely as possible.
2. Allow yourself to accept whatever it is you want, knowing that you deserve it. Remember your thoughts are things; they will attract to you what you are focused on. Focusing on why you deserve whatever it is that you want in life is going to help you attract those goals to you much sooner and more smoothly than if you are worried about if you "are worth it or not". Worrying and getting stressed out will not help you with The Law of Attraction. Just think about what you want and how good you will feel when you have it. Keep those feelings with you to help you allow yourself to get whatever you are applying The Law of Attraction to.
3. Learn to phrase your future goals as being in the process of. This makes them more realistic. For example, "We are in the process of buying our new home", even if you aren't actually going to buy one for a couple more years, you can still be in the process by planning and saving money. This will allow the goal to become more realistic and pull towards you quickly.
4. Make gratitude a daily event. You can do this by asking everyone at supper what he or she is thankful for that day. Staying focused on all the good that is all ready in your lives is a sure bet that you'll notice a lot more good things coming in every day. Even the simplest little thing to be grateful about can help snowball bigger and better things into your life. If it helps, keep a list with you of things you have written that you are grateful about. Then on a bad day, you can take that list out and remember what you wrote and feel that gratitude all over again.
5. Stay positive! The more positive you are able to stay, the more positive will come your way. You will also have a better perspective, be able to think through situations better and even improve your health. If you realize you are thinking about something you don't want, rephrase it into something you DO want instead. For example, if you don't want to work at your job for another ten years, think about how you DO want to retire in under ten years.
Remember, what you think about the most is what you are going to get. So think about things that make you happy. These five steps will help you. You can use them for anything at all that you hope to get out of life.
