Using H.A.L.T.S. with the Law of Attraction

H.A.L.T.S. is an acronym for Never get too Hungry, Angry, Lonely, or Tired. Find out why this is so important to utilize when working with the Law of Attraction.

The Law of Attraction if very specific about keeping our vibrational levels of energy on the positive side. The reason for this is to help attract similar positive levels of energy that will assist in bringing what is most desired out of life. This is wonderful in theory and is a system that is radically changing many people's lives.

The issue of maintaining all the great energy comes into play when the wear and tear of a stressful life gets in the way. It can be hard to maintain positive, grateful, and joyful feelings when life seems to be throwing curveballs at you. Using the H.A.L.T.S. acronym is an excellent antidote to make sure you are able to maintain even through the most challenging times.

H.A.L.T.S. is an acronym that is used in many recovery programs and stands for "Never get too Hungry, Angry, Lonely, Tired, or scared. It also stands for Hope, Acceptance, Love, Tolerance, and Serenity. These are excellent to tools to help assure continued success towards the goals of a solid Law of Attraction program.

Never get too Hungry

This can mean physical, emotional, and/or spiritual hunger. Write a list of ways you get hungry and then come up with a realistic plan to help stay fulfilled in that area. For example, if you are using the Law of Attraction to create a thinner body, you might be trying to control this attraction by not eating right. When you don't eat sufficiently, not only do you feel hungry, but also your blood sugar drops leaving you feeling sluggish and irritable. You might decide to add some low calorie snacks throughout the day as part of your plan to not get too hungry.

If your hunger is based around emotional issues, check for low self-esteem. You might decide to list the successes you have all ready achieved in your life, specifically recalling how you felt at that time. Keep that list handy for whenever your self worth starts to decline. You can achieve good things in your life and you'll have a list proving what you've all ready done.

If your feeling of hunger is for emotional connection with others there are several things you can do to help fill this need. Volunteering is a wonderful way to fill your heart with people that are reaching out for love and support. Find volunteer opportunities in your area and try that out. You might want to get a pet, or even just pick up the phone and reach out to those that you feel estranged from.

If it's spiritual hunger, you might want to start by meditating, or going out in nature. Some might decide to go to church or a local spiritual group and others might start to pray. Whatever feels right for you in your life; begin setting time aside every day to get back in touch with the deepest parts of yourself and what you believe in. That is where the Law of Attraction is mostly based, so this is an important aspect about yourself to work on staying close to.

Take some time regularly to ask yourself if you feel hungry, what it is that you feel hungry for and how to fulfill that need. You will see that when you are feeling filled with life; it's much easier to keep those great feelings for your Law of Attraction program.

Don't get too Angry

Anger is a natural and important human emotion. Ordinary anger is not a problem and can be very healthy when handled correctly. It's one of the ways your subconscious tells you that things aren't going the way you need them to.

The problem with anger comes when it seems to be our most common emotion and our first response to most situations. If you find yourself carrying around feelings of anger, see what is causing them and make corrections. Search inside and see where forgiveness might help. That includes forgiveness of yourself or others.

Releasing pent up anger might mean fixing a problem that has been holding on too long. You might feel out of control of your life and need some professional help to feeling like you are back in control. Whatever it is that's causing your anger, take steps to move away from that. Move firmly towards what will bring you happiness instead.

When your feelings of anger start to dissipate, you'll notice that the positive feelings of appreciation and love are easier to keep in focus. Those are the feelings you want to allow in your life to successfully work your Law of Attraction program.

Never get too Lonely

Feelings of loneliness can hit anytime, even when you're in the middle of a large crowd. Some feelings of loneliness are there because you are hungry for something. Go back to checking to see what it is that you are hungering for and if fixing that will also fix your sense of loneliness.

The easiest thing to do is to try to spend more time with people, places, or things that will temporarily get our mind away from lonely feelings. But that's only a quick fix. The long-term fix is to make best friends with yourself. Enjoying your own company, whether you are alone or with others, gives you a constant companion.

Plan your alone time around doing what brings you close to yourself and to the things you want. That is a sure way to keep the Law of Attraction flowing strongly in your life.

Never get too Tired

Being too tired can refer to physical, mental, or emotional lethargy. The first place to look when you are feeling tired is at sleep and diet habits. If you are getting enough sleep, and eating properly, but you still feel tired, then you might have to look into more extreme lifestyle changes. For example, if you feel tired at the end of the day of work, it might be that you simply don't enjoy the work you are doing. Changing careers, even if it means more hours, might be more beneficial to you because job enjoyment will help increase your energy level.

You might be tired because of depression or anxiety. Always see a doctor if your feelings of being tired are interfering with your life. This will rule out any physical symptoms and help you find out if you need to be screened for an emotional or mental issue.

As you begin to have more energy you'll feel more vibrant and able to sustain positive feelings for longer amounts of time. This will greatly increase your chances of success with Law of Attraction efforts.

Never get too Scared

Feeling scared is a form of anxiety, which is caused from everyday worries to fears of failure or rejection. Anxiety Disorders affect about 40 million American adults age 18 years and older (about 18%) in a given year. Feeling nervous from time to time is a normal human condition, such as feeling nervous before having to speak in public, or going on a job interview. Feelings or anxiety or fear lasting more than six months need special attention. Anxiety, like depression is treatable.

Whenever you start feeling anxious about the possibility of not getting what you want the most, remind yourself that others all ready have what you want, and those people are just like you. Also, let go of being attached to what you want. Stay focused on doing the legwork of working towards the things you want the most, and don't worry about whether you arrive at your destination or not. The journey will be worth every day you spend on it, and the rewards might far exceed what you thought they could be.

As you work on never getting too Hungry, Angry, Lonely, or Scared, you will begin to notice that you are gaining Hope, Appreciation, Love, Tolerance,and Serenity instead. Those are some of the most beautiful gifts of the Law of Attraction. You deserve it!
