Your Guide To Spirit CommunicationWhy Death Isn't The End Of Your Relationship With A Loved OneYou may have watched psychic programs on TV and wondered how they do it. Not everyone is born with the gift and it can be learned through various different means.
There are differing opinions as to whether spirit people actually exist and whether there is life after death or not. Some are staunch believers, others are simply curious and may want to explore the area further and others are skeptical and interested from the point of view of proving that there's no such thing as spirit. Whatever your viewpoint, the life after death issue is a fascinating debate and the sixth sense, the least used and most misunderstood human sense of all. The sixth sense is a heightened perception which can involve pre-cognition, clairsentience (feeling a spiritual presence), clairaudience (hearing messages from spirit or when picking up the thought pattern of someone you know), and clairvoyance (seeing images which are thought to be spiritual). This sixth sense was thought to have developed in very primitive man so that he could sense an impending attack by a wild animal or other danger, and therefore protect himself and his family. Everyone is born with the ability to use this sense but as most people are no longer in daily danger, they don't use this ability and it gets lost. How Can I Develop My Psychic Ability?Remembering your dreams and keeping a journal of them is the first stepping stone in developing psychic ability. Everyone dreams so they are an excellent starting point. If you've lost a loved one you may find that they appear in your dreams. This is because spirit can use dreams as a form of visitation so if you thought it seemed very real, it may well have been just that. Note down what happened in the dream and if your loved one had a message for you. People who are non-believers can still find comfort in doing this. Clairvoyance Or "Day Dreaming"After you have been paying attention to your dreams and journaling regularly, you could start to see dream like images when you are awake or very relaxed, as being relaxed opens up a altered state of consciousness. This is clairvoyance. Different pictures mean different things to each individual person, so it might take you a while to understand what the images mean to you. Spirit sometimes play word games or use puns to communicate a message to you, so you will need time to learn these too. For instance, if you're wondering when you'll meet that handsome new boyfriend you've been dreaming about and you see a metal bed spring, it means you'll meet Mr. Right in the spring time. Seeing traffic lights has an obvious meaning. A green light means that it's okay to go ahead with something, an amber light is telling you to "get ready" for something and a red light is telling you to "stop" or warning you from your current path. These are just a few examples of how you can use clairvoyance to help you in your everyday life. Clairsentience Or Heightened FeelingOnce you become able to see and interpret your 'day dream' images, you might find that this increases your general intuition and awareness. Have you ever had the feeling that someone was watching you before you turned to look at them? This is clairsentience, the ability to psychically feel. Feeling any of these sensations could indicate spirit presence:
Some people have been able to use this sense to avoid tragic accidents, for instance, by having a strong feeling that they shouldn't go out that night and avoiding a pile up on the motorway. Clairaudience Or Psychic HearingWhen you have developed your ability to feel intuitively, the ability to hear psychically can follow. This can happen in a variety of ways. Songs are often used by spirit to communicate a message, so if you keep humming the same song, pay attention to the lyrics. They might be important. You might also hear a voice. This can be heard as an actual voice, as if you were speaking to someone on the telephone, or more commonly it is an inner voice. When you think about something, you can hear your own thoughts. Clairaudience is slightly different in that the thoughts you hear aren't your own. For instance, you could be doing the washing up and thinking about the price of cleaning products when you suddenly think "I died of cancer," even though you were not focusing on cancer at all and it is completely unrelated to your activity. This is how you differentiate between what are your own thoughts and what are spirit communication. It is possible to hear the thoughts of those who are in a coma, or dying, and those who are still alive and well, like a form of mind reading. For instance, your toddler could pick up a book and look and a picture of a dog and then you'd think about dogs. You could send out loving thoughts to a friend and even receive some in return. Practice makes perfect, so the more you use your sixth sense, the easier it should become.
