» surroundingforce - Do I Have It?

I'm new to this discussion forum and to the subject itself. I've always known I was different, I know I was put here for a higher purpose and what that is I still don't know. Basicly, I can feel people's emotions, particularly one person's right now and it is super strong. I know I have some kind of connection to this person or maybe it's because I can sense their emotions. I know when something is wrong with this person or when this person is happy. I can feel it and to some extent I experience it. On many occasions I've confirmed it with this person and to be honest she must think I'm crazy. Though, there will be times when I'm as happy as can be and all of a sudden I'm moody and I come to find out she was moody at the same time. So do I have this ability? I don't know maybe someone can enlighten me on this.

We all have clairsentience. Perhaps you're more sensitive than most to the feelings of being in touch with another's feelings. How your gift is related to life purpose is something only you can clarify through reflection, meditation, and other tools. You might search this site for Life Purpose articles. I've written several myself, which you'll be able to easily find under the Self Awareness category which you can find on the left side navigation column.

Thanks for the reply. You know this whole thing is new to me and does Clairsentience go as far as being able to tell when this person will be in a certain place or an understanding of when this persn will show up by a sudden urge to go to that place? I hope that made sense.

I guess I just need to find out, like you said, how this relates to my life purpose. Considering I'm getting married, not to this person, but another person whom I can't sense emotions from.

This ability that you have is something to regard as a gift. I advise not thinking too much about it, trying to figure it out and trying to decide if it's good or bad. It just is. It's an ability that you've noticed, which bears honoring by treating it with respect, wonder, and awe.

You might keep a journal to sharpen your awareness of what you sense, not just with respect to this one person, but in all situations.

I too have recently been prompted to write about my feelings because of a recent trip to Rome and the muesums. I entered a room with an ancient statue of Diana of Ephesus and I could feel this energy or force from this statue. Only this one. To test I walked away and it disipated and as I returned to it I felt it again. This was a similar sensation type I had when I was at a Bubbist retreat center and as seven monks walked past me I had this strong feeling of compassion/goodness from them, or when I mediate and I feel someone near me is looking at me and I open my eyes and they are.Are these cases of clairsentience. Also, how could an ancient statue of a goodess give off these "vibrations" or whatever they might be? Were the ancient statues worshiped in ancient times able to give off energies? thanks

Absolutely! In fact, everyone has it, though some are more sensitive to energy ebb and flow. Everything in our physical world is composed of energy. Even the apparently rigid marble or stone of statuary is buzzing inside with subatomic particle energy. To be sensitive to the energies of others and be aware of what you're feeling is a blessing. Use it well.

I am not sure what I am doing just ended up at this sight. The more I read the post the more I have more questions. I am like the other posters I can walk in the room and just tell what a person is like or how they treat people and what they feel. I was sitting at my husbands christmass party and just felt overwhelmed by everything like I could think. At the christmass party it was the first one that I had been to a miltiary function at a new base but was able to tell which girls I could trust which couples were fighting and felt the woman's pain. I just have been different all my life. I always see people after they past and have always felt them. I also can have out of body experiences. My dad was having heart surgery and I was in the car on the way to him but while I was still an hour away they had to take him in and he said I walked all the way to the or with him and I was bright and told him I would see him in a bit but I was not there yet I was stuck in a snow storm.

Wow! What a wonderful ability! Perhaps it doesn't always feel wonderful because of the insights you have and so few people believe what you have experienced. But it is a gift. Be open to the opportunities your gift provides, especially opportunities to be of service to others.
