Hi Jerry,

Good job hitting the high points of the book. The principles that I could really use some improvement on are the 80/20 rule and the email/voicemail checking.

I used to struggle with the multitasking, but now it really is just one thing at a time. Using a list to capture ideas of what I want to do really helps me to stay focused.

Thanks for the great article!

Thanks Lyman

Checking email/voicemail is an excellent diversion. I often find myself popping over to email when I'm stuck on an article or some other task. Perhaps the diversion is helpful, but I suspect it just gets me to something I know how to do to avoid being in something where I'm stuck.

I especially like the 80/20 rule applied to happiness. Doing a self assessment around the sources of 80% of my happiness can be eye-opening.
